Welcome to Bundarra Central School
Bundarra Central School (BCS) is a Kindergarten to Year 12 school, set beside the
beautiful Gwydir River. The school has a family atmosphere and maintains close ties to
the community. BCS places an emphasis on sport complementing academic achievement.
The school has a successful Suffolk sheep stud as part of its Agricultural Science
department and regularly competes successfully in local steer competitions.
There are four classes in primary and classes in Years 7 to 12 are taught by eight
teachers. Years 11 and 12 are supported by teachers from Dubbo Distance Education and
are supervised by BCS teachers with additional online and video conferenced lessons.
Adult students  from our community are also enrolled in a variety of in school TVET
courses. 2010 will see many improvements to the school including industry standard
Agriculture and Hospitality facilities.
